Traffic pacing Tuesday night on southbound I-75 in Hernando and Pasco counties

11/4/2015 - I-75 Widening from north of State Road 52 to the Pasco/Hernando counties line

Hernando/Pasco counties, FL -- Traffic will be paced very slowly (about 20 MPH) by law enforcement officers on southbound I-75 in Hernando County and Pasco County sometime between 11:00 p.m. Tuesday (November 10) and 5:00 a.m. Wednesday (November 11). The estimated starting time will be around 11:00 p.m. and the pacing is expected to last about 20 minutes.

Southbound I-75 pacing will begin south of State Road 50 (Exit 301) and end at the work site north of State Road 52 (Exit 285) where crews will be erecting a sign structure over the interstate.

Drivers wanting to enter southbound I-75 from County Road 41 will not be allowed to enter until the front of the pacing operation has passed the entrance ramp.

Motorists should plan at least 30 extra minutes into their drive times through this area while the traffic pacing is taking place.
