About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) contractor milled and resurfaced both directions of Interstate 275 from Kennedy Boulevard/SR 60 Exit 39A (just off the east end of the Howard Frankland Bridge) to State Road 60/Memorial Highway). The resurfacing also included the interchange ramps in that area and eastbound SR 60 from Cypress Street to I-275. Rumble strips were also added to the paved shoulders for safety.

Traffic Flow
The project was designed and constructed to have all work on the travel lanes and ramps take place during night hours when traffic volume is reduced.

Night Work
In order to maintain the construction schedule and to minimize the impact to the public, the contractor performed most of the work at night. Lane closures and detours were used during different phases of the project.

Lane Closure Hours
10:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
