About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has completed improvements to the State Road 52/Interstate 75 interchange in Pasco County. This project extended and signalized the ramp ends, added lighting and resurfaced the interchange area.
Improvement highlights for this project included:
- Built a right turn lane (eastbound) along SR 52 onto southbound I-75.
- Built a right turn lane (westbound) onto northbound I-75.
- Built dual left turn lanes and an exclusive right turn lane on northbound SR 52 exit ramp.
- Widened through-lanes underneath the overpass.
- Drainage improvements.
- Replaced all signs and installed new cantilever signs and two new bridge-mounted signs on the overpass.
- Replaced the temporary signal with mast arms.
- Installed new high-mast lighting
