About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) contractor repaired the bridge deck on the I-75 northbound and southbound bridges over the Alafia River (just north of Gibsonton Drive/Exit 250).

Traffic Flow
The construction phasing was designed so that all existing lanes of traffic remained open on I-75 during peak traffic hours and major special events.

Night Work
In order to maintain the construction schedule and to minimize the impact to the traveling public, lane closures were used during nighttime hours as needed.
