About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) Design/Build contracting team reconstructed both the northbound and southbound I-75 bridges over Harney Road (between Interstate 4/Exit 261 and Fowler Avenue/Exit 265). This project consisted of replacing a section of the bridge, as well as drainage improvements. Now completed, this project improved the overall quality of ride for the public, as well as improved the drainage.
Traffic Flow
Six lanes of traffic (3 in each direction) were maintained on I-75 at during the daytime. There was a phase in which northbound traffic was split when construction was in the middle lane, however, six lanes remained open to traffic. There were also limited lane closures at nighttime during the hours listed below.
Lane Closure Hours:
Monday through Friday: 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday:
Northbound: 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.; Southbound: 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m.
