The Florida Department of Transportation's contractor removed (milled) and resurfaced (paved) the asphalt travel lanes from McIntosh Road (Exit 14) to Branch Forbes Road (Exit 17).
The resurfacing included two interchange ramps -- the eastbound exit ramp to Branch Forbes Road and the Branch Forbes entrance ramp to westbound I-4. Branch Forbes Road was also resurfaced between the interchange ramps (under I-4).
A speed limit reduction to 60 MPH was used during night work activities on the interstate.
