About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) contractor resurfaced the asphalt pavement of the Selmon Expressway (SR 618) from 50th Street to Maydell Drive. New pavement markings were installed after the milling and resurfacing was completed. Some sign work was also included in this project.
Traffic Flow
The construction work was designed so that all existing lanes of traffic and interchange ramps were open on the Selmon Expressway during peak traffic hours.
Night Work
In order to maintain the construction schedule and to minimize the impact to the traveling public, lane closures and much of the construction work were done during nighttime hours.
Lane Closure Hours
8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
