The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) contractor has completed rehabilitating the concrete travel lanes and interchange ramps of Interstate 175 from I-275 to 4th Street in St. Petersburg, Florida.
A diamond grinding process was designed and used after the rehabilitation was completed to provide a smooth roadway surface.

A traffic control plan was developed and used to minimize inconvenience to the traveling public. Lane closures were not allowed during major events near the project limits and closures were delayed until one hour after any Tampa Bay Devil Rays game to allow traffic volume leaving Tropicana Field to be reduced.
Lane Closure Hours were
* Allowed around-the-clock. Most work was daytime between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
