About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) contractor rehabilitated the concrete travel lanes and ramps of Interstate 75 from north of State Road 60 to south of Interstate 4 in Hillsborough County, Florida. The work also included:

* Minor mainline widening for southbound I-75 at the SR 574 exit.
* Realignment and widening of the southbound I-75 exit to SR 574 (Exit 260).
* A new traffic signal at the southbound I-75 ramp and SR 574 intersection.
* Miscellaneous overhead sign structures.
* Median guardrail throughout the limits of the project.
* A diamond grinding process was used after rehabilitation is completed to provide a smooth roadway surface.

The roadway in the project area is a six-lane limited access facility with concrete pavement and interchanges at State Road 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard) and State Road 60 (Adamo Drive).

Ramp closures were required to complete some of the work. Detours were provided for each ramp closure and only one ramp closure was permitted at any one time. Ramp closures were limited to nights and weekends between the hours of 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. the following Monday.

Lane Closure Hours for mainline I-75 and ramps (except for the extended weekend ramp closures)
* Single Lane: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
* Double Lane: 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
