About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's contractor, Highway Safety Devices, has completed installing Intelligent Transportation System field components as part of the Tampa SunGuide Freeway Management System. This included installation of Dynamic Message Signs, Video Monitoring Cameras, Vehicle Detection Stations, Fiber Optic Communications Cable and related components along I-4 from east of 50th Street to east of CR 579.

Lane closures were allowed as follows:
Eastbound and Westbound I-4:
10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Southbound I-275 exit to westbound SR 60 may be closed at night
