About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has completed replacing the concrete bridge decks of I-75 over County Road 672 (Big Bend Road) in southern Hillsborough County, Florida. The bridge deck replacement work required the three through-lanes in either direction of I-75 to be reduced to two lanes around-the-clock (using barrier wall). Nighttime lane reductions down to one lane were permitted during the hours listed below.
In addition to the deck replacement, the northbound entrance ramp and the southbound exit ramp were resurfaced.
A minimum of one through-lane and turn lanes were maintained in each direction on CR 672. There were no lane closure hour restrictions on this road.
I-75 Lane closure hours
* 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Work Zone Speed Limits were:
* I-75: maintained at 60 MPH.
* CR 672: maintained at 45 MPH.
