About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has completed rehabilitation of the concrete travel lanes and associated interchange ramps of Interstate 275 from 13th Avenue North to 62nd Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The mainline portion of the interstate required nighttime lane closures and ramp work required ramps to be closed at night as needed. After all the concrete slab work was finished, all travel lanes underwent a grinding process to provide an even surface area.
There was also milling and resurfacing of the asphalt pavement at the crossroads of 22nd Avenue North, 38th Avenue North, and 54th Avenue North within the limited access boundaries.
Minor roadway and drainage improvements with general safety modifications throughout the project limits were also included in this project. Traffic signal improvements were made at the I-275 entrance and exit ramps at 22nd Avenue North, 38th Avenue North, and 54th Avenue North.
Lane Closure Hours were
* Mainline I-275: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
* 22nd Ave. North: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
