Drainage work for the future Hillsborough County widening project of CR 581 was also constructed, as well as six ponds and various storm water facilities. There was also a slight realignment of the existing pedestrian trail.

The signals at the ramps of CR 581 and I-75 were improved, high mast lighting was installed at the interchange, and signs were improved.

The contract also included enhancements to the Vickers Swamp Mitigation area off of County Road 54.
