New exit ramp alignment for Howard/Armenia and Himes avenues

Beginning April 3, 2010, this map shows the new interstate and interchange ramp alignments for southbound I-275 between downtown Tampa and Himes Avenue.

Through-traffic follows the orange line onto the old northbound lanes and then back onto existing southbound I-275. Traffic entering from Armenia Avenue now uses a ramp that enters mainline traffic from the left side.

Traffic exiting to Howard/Armenia avenues (Exit 42) and Himes Avenue (Exit 41C) follows the existing southbound lanes (shown in purple on this map) and uses the exit ramps to reach those cross streets.
