Night lane closures and detours in I-275/I-4 interchange area

5/9/2016 - I-275 Pavement Rehabilitation from N. Boulevard to Floribraska Avenue

Tampa, FL -- Multiple lanes may be closed on in each direction of I-275 from west of Ashley Drive/Scott Street/Tampa Street (Exit 44) to north of I-4 (Exit 45B) between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday (May 9 - 12) nights.

Also, detours are planned as follows:

* Westbound I-4 ramp onto northbound I-275 may be closed 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday (May 9 - 12) nights. DETOUR: Drivers will be directed to Exit 45A (Downtown East-West) to Doyle Carlton Drive. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Doyle Carlton Drive. Turn right onto Palm Avenue, right onto Tampa Street, left onto Scott Street and then use the entrance ramp onto northbound I-275.

* Southbound I-275 traffic detoured off at the downtown exit between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday (May 10 - 12) nights. DETOUR: All southbound mainline traffic will be directed off at Exit 45A to Doyle Carlton Drive. Drivers will turn right onto Doyle Carlton Drive, right onto Palm Avenue, right onto Tampa Street, then turn right onto the ramp to re-enter southbound I-275.

Note: The above two detours will not occur on the same nights (either one may take place May 10 - 12 nights, but not both of them on the same night).

Weather and events may result in changes to this schedule. Motorists are advised to plan some additional time and for lane closures to occur in either direction most Sunday through Thursday nights. Ramp closures may also be shifted to other nights, as well. Watch lighted message boards for detour information.
