New lanes open on I-75 in northern Pasco County
3/4/2016 - I-75 Widening from north of State Road 52 to the Pasco/Hernando counties line
Pasco County, FL -- A third lane opened March 3 on northbound I-75 and March 4 on southbound I-75 in northern Pasco County from north of State Road 52 (Exit 285) to just south of the Hernando County line (north of County Road 41/Exit 293).
All lanes are now open on that 7.5 mile stretch of the interstate. While all lanes are now open, motorists are advised to drive carefully as workers will be present at times to complete various tasks on the construction project.
Widening continues on each end of this segment in two separate projects; drivers are advised to be prepared to merge leaving this segment as the right lane of northbound I-75 will be closed approaching the Hernando County line and the right lane of southbound I-75 will remain closed approaching SR 52.
