Lois Avenue entrance to southbound I-275 closed for extended period

3/6/2015 - I-275 Widening from east of SR 60 to downtown Tampa (Hillsborough River)

TAMPA -- The entrance ramp onto southbound I-275 from Lois Avenue is closed for construction work in that area (closure began January 7, 2014). The ramp is estimated to reopen in late 2015.

DETOUR GOING TO HOWARD FRANKLAND BRIDGE: Go west on Cypress Street, turn left after crossing under State Road 60/Memorial Highway (west of O'Brien Street) and use that entrance ramp to southbound I-275 towards St. Petersburg.

DETOUR GOING TO WESTBOUND SR 60/MEMORIAL HIGHWAY: Go west on Cypress Street, turn right onto O'Brien Street and go north to Spruce Street, then turn left onto Spruce Street and go west to the ramps to westbound State Road 60/Veterans Expressway or Tampa International Airport.
