Bruce B. Downs to be closed at I-75 Saturday night
10/26/2007 - Interstate 75 at County Road 581 (Bruce B. Downs Blvd.)
NEW TAMPA -- Both directions of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (County Road 581) will be closed at I-75 between 9 p.m. Saturday (November 3) and 5 a.m. Sunday (November 4) as crews erect bridge girders. All ramps will be open at the interchange, but no traffic will be allowed to pass under I-75. DETOURS: Westbound (southbound) CR 581 motorists will be routed onto northbound I-75, where they can exit at State Road 56 (Exit 275), then enter southbound I-75, exit at Exit 270 and go west (south) on CR 581. Eastbound (northbound) CR 581 motorists will be routed onto southbound I-75, where they can exit at Fletcher Avenue (Exit 266), then enter northbound I-75, exit at Exit 270 and go east (north) on CR 581.
