About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) contractor is rehabilitating the concrete travel lanes and four interchange ramps of Interstate 275 from 54th Avenue South to 26th Avenue South in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Concrete roadway slabs will be removed and replaced in whole or parts depending on the condition of each individual section.

Once all new slabs have been constructed, a grinding process will be used on the entire roadway (both old and new concrete slabs) in the project area to provide a smooth roadway surface.

Traffic Flow
The majority of the work is expected to be done during nighttime hours and the work will be coordinated with major special events.

Night Work
In order to maintain the construction schedule and to minimize the impact to the traveling public, lane closures are planned for nighttime hours as needed.

Lane Closure Hours
Northbound I-275: 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Southbound I-275: 7:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
