About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's contractor has completed milling and resurfacing the asphalt travel lanes of Interstate 75 from State Road 674 (Sun City Center Boulevard) to County Road 672 (Big Bend Road) in Hillsborough County, Florida. With this work, median guardrail was also installed and the existing Emergency Call Box concrete pads were replaced.

Two of the four interchange ramps at County Road 672 were milled and resurfaced within the limited access area of the interstate. The ramps effected were:
* CR 672 entrance ramp to southbound I-75
* Northbound I-75 exit ramp to CR 672

A traffic control plan was developed to minimize inconvenience to the traveling public. However, nighttime closures were necessary for mainline travel lanes as well as interchange ramps. Detours were provided when ramps were closed.

Lane Closure Hours
* Mainline single lane closures:
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

* Mainline double lane closures:
7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

* Ramp closures:
9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights only.
