About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has completed milling and resurfacing State Road 60 from east of Falkenburg Road to east of Grand Regency Boulevard. The Department also added auxiliary lanes along SR 60 and an additional lane was added to two ramps at this interchange. State Road 60 was resurfaced and rehabilitated from Grand Regency Blvd/Brandon Town Center Drive to west of Hillsborough Memorial Gardens.

Improvement highlights for this project include:

  • Added a third left turn lane to the ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound SR 60.
  • Widened SR 60 for an eastbound auxiliary lane from Falkenburg Road to west of Grand Regency Blvd.
  • Extended the eastbound right turn lane at Brandon Town Center Drive.
  • Widened SR 60 for a westbound auxiliary lane from Grand Regency Boulevard to the southbound I-75 entrance ramp.
  • Added a second lane to the ramp from westbound SR 60 to northbound I-75.
  • Extended the eastbound left turn lane at Grand Regency Boulevard.
  • Eliminated free flow movements by directing all traffic exiting the interstate to signalized intersections and increased capacity on the ramps by adding lanes on the ramps from northbound I-75 to eastbound SR 60 and southbound I-75 to westbound SR 60.
