About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has constructed a 4-lane divided highway connection to Interstate 275 from County Road 296 (118th Avenue North). It provides connections to northbound and southbound I-275 from County Road 296, as well as a connection to County Road 296 from southbound I-275. The project was designed, in part, to provide relief to the traffic congestion on U.S. Highway 19 and Ulmerton Road.
Improvement highlights for this project include:
- Connect County Road 296 to Interstate 275.
- Provide highway lighting for that area.
- Provide signalization on County Road 296 at 31st Court North.
