About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation has rehabilitated Interstate 275 from 54th Avenue South to 26th Avenue South in Pinellas County, Florida. This project also resurfaced 54th Avenue South from 31st Street South to 41st Street and 26th Avenue South from 31st Street South to 34th Street South. The concrete rehabilitation included all interchange ramps within the project limits. Mast arm signals were installed at the 54th Avenue exit ramp and at the 54th Avenue South/34th Street (U.S. 19) intersection.
Improvement highlights for this project included:
- Rehabilitated the existing concrete as described above.
- Repaired concrete slabs in existing travel lanes. Ground all lanes to provide an even surface area.
- Upgraded existing guardrail to meet current standards.
- Upgraded signing and pavement markings.
