About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) contractor rehabilitated the concrete travel lanes and interchange ramps of Interstate 275 in downtown Tampa from N. Boulevard to Floribraska Avenue.

Concrete roadway slabs were removed and replaced in whole or parts depending on the condition of each individual section.

After all the new slabs were constructed, a grinding process was used on the entire roadway (both old and new concrete slabs) in the project area to provide a smooth roadway surface.

Traffic Flow
The construction was designed so that all existing lanes of traffic were open on I-275 during peak traffic hours.

Night Work
In order to maintain the construction schedule and to minimize the impact to the public, the contractor did the majority of work at night.

Lane Closure Hours
10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
