About this Project
This project, which was managed by the City of Tampa, consisted of constructing a utility corridor from State Road 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, south to Cypress Street. This work was completed in order to allow advanced relocation of multiple utilities prior to the beginning of the Tampa Airport Interchanges project and to provide an access route for the maintenance of these utilities. Organizations participating in the cost of this construction included Bright House Communications; City of Tampa Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Departments; TECO; TECO-Peoples Gas; Verizon; XO Communications; The Florida Department of Transportation; and Level 3 Communications.
