All traffic on eastbound State Road 60 was shifted to a new alignment on Monday, December 8, 2008. Eastbound traffic now travels on the new bridge over Bayport Drive (road in and out of the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay). This allowed the traffic signal at S.R. 60/Bayport Drive to be taken out of service, creating opportunity for more free-flowing traffic on S.R. 60. Motorists should also be alert that the exit to Bayport Drive is now further to the west (yellow road that begins on the left side of the map).
